I am not one to write many reviews but this iron is by far the best I have ever owned and I wanted to put some context into its review. I bought this to replace my Chi that stopped working (only one side of the iron got hot). I knew I didn't want to spend more than $100 on another iron, so I looked for a cheaper iron with good reviews. I'm glad I bought it and would recommend it to anyone who uses irons on a daily basis. It made my hair so smooth and sleek. The plates heat up evenly and very quickly, so you didn't have to wait for it to warm up. The iron itself is sleek and high quality. I didn't feel like my hair was on fire. I have tried many irons over the years and this is by far the best.
