First time and so far it seems perfect for the reason I bought it! If you see my photo for reference. I was hoping to connect a podcasting mic [which only has a USB cable, no other way to connect] to my new iPad. Never had an iPad, never had a USB mic, never needed one. My laptop broke so I was hoping to use my iPad for my podcasts instead. An unfamiliar attempt to piece it all together; Buying was risky. But hey, it works! I'm sure it will come in handy later for other reasons as I experiment more. There is another port with a lightning bolt icon that can also be used to charge an iPhone. I'm not the most tech savvy person so I prefer Apple products. But it also requires additional verification to buy things compatible with them. Anyway, this article brings me some relief :) Now I can use my fancy microphone and iPad together - hooray!
