I used this adapter to connect my iPad Pro Gen 2 to a Yamaha P125 digital piano. The Yamaha SmartPianist app running on the iPad can be used to control the piano. I used a USB B to USB A cable to connect the piano to the USB A port on this adapter. Worked great!

I plugged my headset's USB connector into this adapter and the Lightning connector into my iPhone7. The phone then prompted me to sign in and the headset worked straight away like an audition as well as speaking. The sound was great. An additional charging port gives you unlimited connection for webinars and long conference calls.

I bought a couple of these controllers because I have a lot of MIDI controllers and needed extra adapters to connect them to iPads and iPhones. It's great for that. Connect the USB end to the controller cable, connect the Lightning end to your iOS device, and the keyboard is instantly recognized and works just like Apple's "Camera Connection Kit". If you're looking for a way to connect a MIDI keyboard to an iPhone or iPad, this is out of the box.

Works perfectly, powers the iPad and also has a standard USB connector which can be used for various purposes such as connecting my iPad to my DAC to play high resolution audio. While it worked (i.e. it sent the audio to my DAC and my DAC played it back), the sound quality seemed far from outstanding. The bass in particular sounded loose and a bit grainy at high frequencies. I think you need to buy a genuine version of this device from Apple if you plan to use it for high-resolution audio.

Very cool device! I bought this to try and connect a USB audio capture device to my iPhone to capture stereo audio from a high quality microphone while using the default Apple Camera app and. IT WORKS! Also works great in GarageBand, you can easily include stereo in your project. Also tested it on a USB drive and was able to view files, watch videos straight from the flash drive using the Apple Files drive, the USB drive just shows up as a different drive than the desktop. I bought this to test the GarageBand keyboard feature on the iPhone 5S. Yes. It's 2021 and I'm turning my iPhone 5S into a music workstation. Connected to Korg Kontrol49, your iPhone controls the keyboard and plays native instruments in Garageband. It's super cool. This will drain your battery very quickly. The adapter did what it was supposed to - I was able to transfer photos from a USB stick to my iPhone and use USB headsets for listening iPhone Audio, Newscasts and Music. The charging port seemed to provide enough power to charge my iPhone and power the connected device. Unfortunately, this prevented me from using my USB headset to make calls, which was the main reason I bought it. Although it is a good product and works as advertised I returned it. Should have read the reviews more carefully.

First time and so far it seems perfect for the reason I bought it! If you see my photo for reference. I was hoping to connect a podcasting mic [which only has a USB cable, no other way to connect] to my new iPad. Never had an iPad, never had a USB mic, never needed one. My laptop broke so I was hoping to use my iPad for my podcasts instead. An unfamiliar attempt to piece it all together; Buying was risky. But hey, it works!
