I bought this to test the GarageBand keyboard feature on the iPhone 5S. Yes. It's 2021 and I'm turning my iPhone 5S into a music workstation. Connected to Korg Kontrol49, your iPhone controls the keyboard and plays native instruments in Garageband. It's super cool. This will drain your battery very quickly. I recommend connecting a power source to it. You can probably connect a whole bunch of things to your iPhone that Apple doesn't publicize well. I do not understand why. One thing that doesn't work. You cannot daisy chain multiple Thunderbolt adapters like an HDMI adapter and a USB adapter.
