Broke on first use best in air conditioning tools and equipment

Got the tool and wanted to use it on my 2005 Saturn Ion. The first time I tried it it broke off, snapping off the metal tip that could slip onto the valve core, rendering the tool completely unusable. I'm frustrated in Las Vegas and have to drive when the weather is over 100 degrees. Now I have to wait while I order a tool from another manufacturer to replace the valve cores in my air conditioner.
