Review on NOEVSBIG Automatic Electronics Desoldering Soldering by Brian Cheney

This device is a great concept but poorly finished. I had trouble delivering solder on even the simplest project as the nozzle dispensing it was constantly moving sideways. made me completely destroy a small item I was working on. Also, this device doesn't seem to have any safety features and caused me to burn a huge hole in my carpet when I put the gun down and moved away from myself (I know I should have looked, and quite frankly I was my fault ) and after about 20 minutes of smelling hot dogs being cooked I realized the iron had burned a hole right through my living room carpet and almost through the hardwood floor below! The iron heats up very quickly which is great, but be careful as it doesn't have a safe on/off function like most. The printout of the manual promises a "lifetime warranty" but if you scan the QR code it will take you to their website that promises a 1 year warranty and if you answer any further questions or provide more personal information, promises a further six-month guarantee. I think it was a "free gift"? I do not know. If you have the patience I would say buy this and be careful otherwise I think there are better options.
