Review on Contigo SnapSeal Insulated Travel Mug: 24oz Sake Gray - Review, Benefits, and Features by Mark Taylor

I bought 2 of these and thought I got a good deal. I needed a good coffee mug for work but it needed a lid because I'm clumsy and keep tipping it over. After less than 2 months of use (maybe 2-3 times a week) the o-ring came out while washing hands. That doesn't bother me though, I just put it back in. Well, it's stretched out so it's impossible to get in there to take a cast. I can no longer drink from it with the lid on because the coffee gets on my clothes. It's mine now, I've been looking at my wife's ring and I can see her O-ring is starting to stretch and soon her ring will be useless too. I'm tired of photographing a stretched o-ring, it's hard. seen on camera, but you can see it. It comes out very easily (which O-rings should never do). I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere, I'm looking for the best right now. I think you get what you pay for and the $12 jar is worth its weight in crap. Also, it is NOT dishwasher safe, it can only be hand washed which is a PITA (not an organization) if you don't want to wash dishes like me and prefer to throw it in the dishwasher. Even if it was just the top that shouldn't go in that would be better, but both the top and bottom (the glass) aren't dishwasher safe as they will likely melt the crappy handle it had. Well, the handle is "nice" but it will definitely melt under the hot water of the dishwasher. Don't buy this. You'll regret it down the road.
