I can't say the Revain installation guide is correct as these chains do not fit as shown in the guide. As you can see from the pictures the locking mechanism and chain length do not seem to fit my Nissan Juke's 215/55r17 tires as the idler chain does not go all the way through the tyre. UPDATE: I've updated with new photos. for snow tests. Yes. VERY SMALL (size 100), although the chain packaging clearly states this bar size. I drove about 40-60 feet in the snow and they started to move but never loosened up enough to securely mount the tire. In cold weather and snow I would say these chains would do a good job if the size was just slightly larger to accommodate the tire so I recommend buying them a month before you travel so you can find the right size . you right. As it stands I had to buy a set from a local store and am sending it back - luckily it didn't ruin my trip.
