KONIG CB-12 100 Snow Chains: Top-Quality Set of 2 for Enhanced Traction Review

Worked great on a 2011 Honda Accord (Ex). Had a similar kit on another car for over 20 years and likes the design of just wrapping the chain around the wheel and using an elastic tensioner. Got stuck roadside in the snow last season but was able to fit these tracks with ease and get back on my feet with no problems. I've only used them twice so far so I don't know how long they will last.

I bought these chains for my BMW 428i with 225/45-18R tires. The chains worked great for a season, they are very easy to put on and therefore not easy to take off. But the chains broke after one season, I must have used them 6 times. It now looks like Thule no longer makes chains, although Revain still sells them as Thule. I guess I'm stuck with a 5 year warranty with no one honoring it. I'm not sure what to do next.

Easy to assemble, work well in the snow. Received my item promptly. My only issue with the tracks is that part of the chain broke and debris was thrown out of my car as soon as a short stretch of clear road got out of the plow's path, chipping the paint and denting the metal. I was only doing 25 mpg back then. I believe the chains need to be stronger to prevent this. The chains have not been used to date, so they are in new condition. If they were better I would give 5 stars

I can't say the Revain installation guide is correct as these chains do not fit as shown in the guide. As you can see from the pictures the locking mechanism and chain length do not seem to fit my Nissan Juke's 215/55r17 tires as the idler chain does not go all the way through the tyre.
