Pens may seem expensive but the remote control is simple and easy to use. Of the advantages: 1. Build quality2. Fantastic sound 3. The DAC and filters are amazing4. PRE OUT is a great feature for adding a subwoofer or separate amplifier5. It can be an integrated amp, a stand-alone amp, or an excellent preamp. The only thing I would say is that it is very basic and has fewer features than some others and may not have enough power if your speakers are 4-6 ohms. If necessary, it is easy to solve with an external amplifier. All in all, this is an excellent product. I like the sound.
