1 star - since it does NOT fit all my USB 3.0 ports and is too tight in the ports, I dare to put it in. Only positive: if it fits in the USB port - no problem reading the memory card. Very very tight - if my laptop and desktop have USB 3.0 installed - I don't know if that's normal - or do I have a bad one? Seriously, too much hassle to install this USB adapter. Very tight - but not that tight - when installed into my desktop PC's dedicated USB 3.1 port - MB ports. I really wonder if this will damage my laptop's USB port. Cannot be used in all laptop USB ports. Other brand devices have no problem "fitting into USB ports" on my HP laptop. My SanDisk USB 3.0 adapter and external drives fit perfectly into my laptop's USB ports - less than 1/3 the installation effort. The circuit board seems too thick for the one I received. SanDisk USB 3.0 Adapter Metal case 4.55mm (thick) x 12mm wide. You may say 0.25mm is not enough. but it is 12% too thick. I cannot recommend this product based on the sample I purchased.
