Review on Technika Quick Release Martingale Dog Collar by Canine Equipment by Charlene Davis

My Shar Pei/Boxer/Lab/Corgi mix has a long neck, wide at the bottom, very narrow at the top, and his head isn't much larger than the narrowest part. He removed every collar he had ever worn and removed his harness as well, stepping back and sticking out his front legs. And he's quick as a charging snake. I needed a collar that wasn't so tight that he couldn't breathe without slipping over his head. I received this collar and I immediately liked the quality. It can be loose enough to rest on his neck, but stretch enough when he pulls on it to stop before it can slip out of his head. Tonight he stuck his head in the hedge and a cat jumped out. He tried to chase after it and then kicked out like a horse trying to free itself from its collar. He weighs 55 pounds and looked like a stubborn mustang, and I'm pretty sure I looked like a cowboy being thrown while holding on to the other end of the leash. My husband saw this and said it would be a great video to show how great this collar works. When you get it be sure to measure 3 places as shown in the pictures and you will get the perfect fit. It fits and holds the adjustment and I really like the quick release. Make sure the two rings just touch but don't overlap when adjusting it to place right behind your ears. It's perfect and I highly recommend it. Expensive but worth every penny.
