Review on VIVO Black Manual Flip Down Ceiling Mount for Flat πŸ“Ί TVs & Monitors 17-37 Inches (MOUNT-M-FD37B) - Folding Pitched Roof Mounting by Joe Kokenge

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Insufficient height adjustment

There must be at least three to four more spots on the sides of the vertical bracket to allow the overall height of the monitor to be adjusted, otherwise the monitor/TV will likely hang too low. I ended up drilling additional holes on the sides of the lever and using a couple of metal screws to be able to adjust the lever high enough. The new holes are about 2", 4" and 6" above the top holes in the bracket. I was impressed by how strong the steel I drilled into was, so I'm not worried about that the screws will loosen / fall out over time If you actually used the standard punched TV/monitor storage bracket, you will need plenty of space behind the bracket, if any, otherwise the TV/monitor will not snap into the bracket properly in the horizontal position. I have found that there are some limitations previously mentioned that this mount is not adjustable, but I have never understood that one of these directly means the possible vertical height of the TV/monitor relative to the mount.
