Review on 🔧 Tenma 217936 Soldering Iron Replacement: Enhanced for SEO by Jason Hinrichs

I do not believe this is a Tenma original part. While properly plugged in and working, it doesn't get as hot as the other (all gray and black) Tenma irons. There are some differences in design, namely the ferrule assembly is a sleeve that fits over the heater element shaft and it doesn't actually fit, so someone thought of including a thin piece of metal to 'wrap' between the outer ferrule. sleeve and the inner heating shaft. There's also a strange white substance at the top. Came in a clear plastic bag with a cardboard lid that says Tenma but the iron itself doesn't say anything. Buyers beware, Revain also have a "genuine" Tenma replacement iron, look for this one instead.
