Great price for classroom use, will turn your fingers black
I am a K-12 art teacher. I use this oil pastel in many of my junior classes. They create clean lines with little effort from students, making them ideal for first graders and first graders. I usually take the packaging off and break it into 4 pieces so they last longer. Oil pastels will tear themselves or the packaging will get in the way if I give them whole to my students. The black is saturated and the heat from the hands causes the pastel to spill onto the fingers etc. So be aware that they will get a little dirty.
