I bought this knife to replace a very old and much loved 8" Henckels Zwilling Professional S chef's knife which I sent back to Zwilling for a replacement according to have their lifetime warranty.The return time for warranty replacement is horribly long and I needed a chef's knife in the meantime.I was reluctant to purchase this PurWell Living knife because there is no information on where it is made and I assumed that it's just another cheap Chinese made knife. I was pleasantly surprised! The knife weighs like my old German Henckels twin. It's razor sharp and a pleasure to use. Time will be the real test.
