When mine stopped working I started looking at it and the power cords melted outside. I took it apart and found that everything was plastic and all the wires were fused together. The entire interior was rusty. The pump is not really isolated from the water. This is probably where the problem started. Wouldn't recommend and definitely won't buy again. I bought a slim heavy duty pump to keep my tank full, it's sealed and works better and it also has two cylinders. My beeps are sounding good again.
