This is a great set of lights, but there is one item in particular that can be both a blessing and a curse depending upon what YOU plan on doing with them, so be aware:This is a very heavy set of lights which is good and bad - good in that they should last a long time and weather well. The bad is that if you want to hang them on a wire or string, you had better be ready for some gravity to kick in since you'll see some drooping. I ended up having to reenforce the wire where the old lighting hung.Other thoughts: - These have molded screw/nail hole built right in so no to wrap them in zip-ties - very nice. - Don't put in the bulbs until the string is up - they are glass so they are very, very breakable. (I learned the hard way) - I received extra lightbulbs HURRAY because the wife would have killed me if we were missing bulbs (see above). - The light themselves are spread apart more than I would have liked - my old strand had them just a foot apart. - When screwing in the bulbs, you have to twist much harder than you would expect to get a good seating - I thought the string was bad until I over-tightened one of the bulbs and it turned on.Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. The only reason I took away 1 star was for some of the above items, everything else was great!
