Review on πŸ–₯️ Black Active Cooling Media Center PC Case with Fan for Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, Libre Computer Board, ASUS Tinker Board by John Vann

Perfect fit for ASUS Tinker Board

There's nothing wrong with that, it's perfect for an ASUS Tinker Board with the heatsink installed. This is the heatsink that came with the board and I measured it to be 8-9mm high (difficult to measure with a 12" plastic ruler once on the board). Anything above that probably won't work as it only cleans the fan shroud. The fan is audible but not noisy, at least for me, regardless of whether you connect the 3.3V or 5V pin, the difference between 3.3V and 5V was also barely noticeable. The case is aesthetically pleasing and functional, it includes 4 small rods on legs and 4 screws, 3 of which attach the circuit board to the bottom of the case, the fourth holds the bottom and top of the case together. The screws aren't strictly necessary as the two halves of the case fit together exactly, but it does is nice to have.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • I'm worried
