There's 3/4 inch of ice in my driveway. My tractor couldn't turn to blow off the fresh snow. With these spikes I was able to climb the slope when it was snowing. I have 2 studs per rib installed on my R-1 tread pattern tires. I needed 200 spikes to spike 2 rear tires. Much better than chain. I have a Golden Jubilee and a 6 foot compressor.
