Missing hole, minimum clearance

Overall these extendable workbench casters seem to work well. Here are a few flaws: 1) There was no hole in one of the brackets (see 3 hole photo vs 4 hole photo). This wasn't a fatal error as I could easily drill the hole myself, but why? I'm pretty sure they're made on an automated production line, so I can't imagine how a hole was missed or how many other mounts left the factory with a hole missing. 2) Installing the bracket 1.5 inches off the floor provides minimal clearance on the caster when raised to the raised position, provided the caster is rotated fully away from the bench leg. By minimum I mean that the roller will most likely still be touching the ground even when the weight of the workbench isn't on it. I would recommend mounting the bracket a bit higher to get more clearance. 3) I don't know how much tension these people think these mounts will take, but attaching them to a workbench leg with six 1" screws seems a little overkill. I thought four screws would be enough. 4) They do not come with assembly or installation instructions. hard to understand, but all you get are a few drawings of the retractable roller at various stages of assembly.
