Daytime scenes with bright lighting illuminate the room as in the daytime, black becomes completely light, but it doesn’t hurt the eye, it’s rather normal, there’s nothing to catch in this regard without dark walls. Contrasting scenes look best, where there is equal light and darkness, but the movie consists of not only them. In general, there is a feeling of excessive brightness (even in eco-mode) for watching movies in the dark, I haven’t figured out how to lower it yet. Perhaps a gray screen will help, but I have not yet seen budget solutions. If someone has come across and solved the problem, I will be glad to hear recommendations, what else can I try to neutralize excess light in dark areas. The plans are to compare it with the benq1070 in the same room, then the difference in technologies (rainbow, for example) and the perception of black will be clearer. Total: 1- For offices and presentations, there are probably cheaper bright projectors, for cinema in the dark - in the same price category "folk" - less bright, but with better blacks. In short, as usual, there are no universal things. 2- This projector in particular causes conflicting impressions (this is my first projector), but it became clear that before buying, which you simply cannot return to the store, you had to compare different projectors with your own eyes and find your personal compromise between price / quality (although how to do so is unclear). The moment is of course subjective, but for the next few years, looking at a picture that you don’t like is so-so fun.
