Plastic quality is good. I'm not worried about them just leaking for no reason. The lid is pop-up type and does not leak. In addition, there is no problem with slime build-up inside the bottle or cap. They are dishwasher safe. My running belt only holds 1 bottle. One bottle is enough for a run of up to 5 km. Anything longer and both bottles should be taken. The weight of a bottle filled with liquid is not enough to be felt while running. No sloshing or bouncing on my treadmill. I like the curved neck of the bottles. This makes drinking easier. You can suck out the liquid or squeeze the bottle slightly. I've used bottles about 10 times. I expect the bottles will last a long time if not mistreated.
