Save your money: Replacement parts

The starter gear is much shorter than the factory gear. It also sits much farther away and doesn't engage the full length of the flywheel teeth. The guide even shows something like 50% engagement - that's normal. how is it normal It wears out your flywheel or flexplate at record speeds or doesn't even work if you have a slightly worn flywheel/flexplate. Mine was a bit worn but worked fine with the stock starter as well as the GM Hiperformance Mini starter I replaced the Powermaster with. I believe they don't extend as far due to the greater leverage on the bearing. Probably cheap stuff. Also, after removing the solenoid, I noticed that the lever that moves the bendix away from the solenoid is plastic! How long does it last near the exhaust before it becomes brittle and breaks? Too bad I can't return it, but I just have to put it on. Save your money and buy a better one or use a nose cone stock.
