First was the HHVI320JR02 which I would give "-5" (see my other review) because the battery life was terrible. On the other hand, this model is almost twice the price BUT much better. Pros: - Good suction at the nozzle for what it is supposed to collect and stays the same throughout the job - Nice slim design and no tools to lose when building the nozzle extension. along with the brush attachment - gets to hard-to-reach places - it's very light and comfortable on the hands - this model has a charge indicator and the base you put it on, although the base isn't that stable - this model has a preset - a plastic filter that greatly improves quick cleaning, which should be accompanied by a dust bag - charging time from box to dust is about 3 hours and 28 minutes on my stopwatch - full load runtime to battery drain is about 12 minutes and an additional 3 wasted minutes for a safe shutdown (point at which the device turns itself off to prevent the battery from being completely drained) back on my stopwatch - solid 2 year warranty and 30 day money back guarantee. children/pets/etc. cannot be used by children/pets/etc. be knocked over - the device is not designed for heavy use, any heavy fall onto a hard surface will inevitably break it - battery sealed and no removable battery so you can keep working (e.g. when towing your SUV/truck) - 16.2 AW (Watts of air) seem low for a 20V tool - 18-20 AW is better for other such tools - poor engineering? High flow and low suction, much wasted engine power. The end result is probably one of B&D's best dust collectors, and I'd definitely recommend that you only look at 20V+ based on my own experience.
