The harness fits perfectly into the seat belt slot, ensuring a SAFE and COMFORTABLE ride. We traveled 7 hours and our pup was able to get up and move from side to side and change position safely. We bought an average size 12-15 inches long for the dog size shown in the picture...Larger for larger breeds. The product is well made with a twist lock that allows the dog to turn easily without twisting. I would buy this product again in a heartbeat!
