I am very pleased with the Series 2 bento tipster stand. It folds easily and is relatively light. Can be folded up compactly with the ball head attached. I ordered and received a short column which I think is needed for a very low photo. Haven't taken it on a hike yet, but I think it would be perfect for this situation if the need arose. I give 5 stars for customer service. I couldn't figure out why the legs wouldn't engage when changing position with the locks and the customer service rep patiently explained the procedure to me. You need to put the leg in an approximate position, then press the latch, and then move the leg until it clicks into place. Having understood this, it is now easier to quickly change the position of the legs.
