Review on RF 1042DK Black Drycharger Filter Wrap by Lance Foster

Seems to be a good pre-filter. Expensive for a silicone treated polyester sock. Update #1: The nylon straps that hold the sock to the filter wear out after about 1.5 years as the ends don't seem to be that tight. I wear this sock every day. It's probably a good idea to swap it out to keep dust out of the ends of the filter. Overall, I still love this product and will continue to use it as an extra reassurance every day. Update #2: But now I won't use it every day anymore and will look for other alternatives. I bought this product in 2013 for 30.99. Now 38.53 in February 2016? Can someone from K&N explain this? I know it's nylon with added silicone and rubber bands on the ends, but does it really cost $38.53? Rubber bands don't even last 2 years.
