The tips of the pliers were rough at about 25 degrees. The semicircular handles were misaligned. One half of the instrument is much thicker than the other half, and when viewed from the side it is again uneven: the right side is thicker than the left to a higher point. On the other hand, the wire cutters worked well, I liked the handles, and the rivet had no play so it was made to last. However, due to the shoddy workmanship mentioned above, I returned the tool and ordered an 8" Knipex pliers. I ordered this on purpose to support Made in the USA, but it's too casual. A few machining marks here and there don't bother me but when the whole tool is uneven it's just weird I have the same problem with another pliers the 318WS but it's not as bad as these I also have some channel lock pliers and they are really excellent so meet them or miss. However, this is 2015. Making balanced, even tongs shouldn't be that hard.
