I went to my local auto parts store to look for a fuel pump and was told they were out of stock for various reasons. Since I found this explanation a bit implausible, I did some research and found this pump. I used it today to fill my cars with fuel from standard 5 gallon tanks. The process was relatively easy, with virtually no leaks. The pump worked as promised and the auto shut off worked to prevent fuel from spilling from the receiver tank. The pump is easy to use and looks relatively high quality. While the pump probably won't withstand heavy use or abuse, I expect it to last a few years if I handle it with care and don't abuse it. All in all a wonderful product that has made it very easy for me to transfer fuel from storage tanks.
