Review on Renewed SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless Gaming Headset with USB-C and Clearcast Microphone Compatible with Multiple Devices in Black by Agata Bachanek ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like everything, the quality is good, the price is reasonable.

In general, the headphones play well, on the other hand, the quality of the materials . But, you have to understand, these headphones actually cost 3500 (arctis 1). Because the rest we pay for the wireless version. And I also got married. They worked for two days, and then periodically began to constantly connect / disconnect. Until the dongle was pulled out and inserted, this peak-peak in the ears continued with a terrible crackling. Fortunately, the money was returned to amazon and now I think. On the one hand, I would take them again, despite the Chinese appearance and tactile sensations, for their sound. On the other hand . Already scary)

Pros
  • Sound, both in games and in multimedia. Perhaps on cheap continents everything will not be so rosy, but in my laptop there is not the most cheap DAC. The high frequencies are slightly turned up, and it sometimes hits the ears. The volume is very good even over wireless. Good sound reproduction. I bought Dolby Atmos, and in movies / games it's very cool to hear. The microphone is very good, with very good noise reduction: sometimes the wife comes up and says something very close, and you can’t hear her on the air. A small dongle, although wide, is very convenient with a laptop. Volume wheel, not buttons - I do not depend on the software, but adjust the sound as I want, even when they are not connected. The microphone mute button and, in fact, the removable microphone itself. Can be used wired, wirelessly and while charging. Dongle because of type c is stuck anywhere, and since the headphones save the settings in memory, everything will be your way on any device.
Cons
  • They look very skie. Here it is completely. Cheap plastic, everything kind of crunches, creaks, the buttons don’t understand how they are pressed, the microphone mute lever is a horror in general. The ear pads are small, of course I'm not a hobbit, but after an hour of playing it started to press. The microphone in the socket does not sit tightly and scrolls slightly. The microphone cable itself is almost impossible to fix as you like, because it is covered with a hard rubber braid, as if with electrical tape. Jack-jack is thin, very flimsy. Noise isolation is very average, even with a discount on fabric. Everyone above writes about cool software . Did they get paid or what? There are literally a couple of settings and the most useful thing is to hear yourself. (Windows has a different setting and you will hear yourself with a half-second delay.) I deleted it because my audio software is many times better. In addition, the program sees the headphones only wirelessly. I won’t tell you about the battery in numbers, but it definitely won’t let you down. If you are for a long session, you will definitely have enough until its end, and you don’t need more.
