Review on Renewed SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless Gaming Headset with USB-C and Clearcast Microphone Compatible with Multiple Devices in Black by Micha Grt ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

Type-c dongle allows you to use the headset with modern smartphones. But not all of them define the device as a headset. My previous smartphone, Huawei, defined it as a headset and everything was fine, but the current Samsung defines it as just headphones - accordingly, for calls and rallies, you have to connect via an audio cable (it’s good that it was included in the kit)

Pros
  • I will dwell on the advantages that make this device an ideal headset for a person working remotely: 1. A microphone that really cuts off 95% of extraneous sounds. Many times I participated in rallies from a car in the middle of a noisy street - zero complaints from colleagues. It also cuts out the screams of children / cats, the sound of the TV and even conversations further than 1 meter from you 2. The ability to mute / unmute the microphone with a switch on the earpiece. During the rally, you can move away from the computer to make coffee, and at this time say a few words to your wife without disturbing your colleagues 3. Adjust the volume on the earpiece. Again, during the rally, everyone speaks from different devices, the sound of the voice of one is quieter, the other is louder. The conference software does not always correctly average the input volume. sounds, and the wheel reg. volume helps a lot. 4. A proprietary software feature that directs part of the sound from the front microphone to the headphone speakers. You feel much more comfortable when talking, plus there is no desire to raise your voice that occurs when talking in closed headphones 5. Pretty good pive noise cancellation
Cons
  • 1. A small, non-bulging on/off on (aka pause/play/next). It is difficult to find it the first time, you have to . Finding her with gloves is generally unrealistic. Yes, and it is located so that you can only press the thumb of your right hand. Why not make a large convex on on the side of the earpiece, and not a tiny one on the bottom? 2. Over time, the soft element on the headband began to crack when you put on the headphones: it peels off on one side 3. They won’t fit a small head: there is a large margin for an increase in the bow (you can easily wear it with a hat), but alas, for a decrease 4. I'm very afraid of losing or breaking the dongle! It is too big to keep it constantly plugged into the connector, you have to take it out often. And the headset itself does not have a storage compartment
