In addition to this protractor, I now have a whole collection of Incra rulers of various sizes and configurations (straight, T, curved, protractor). They are all based on 0.5mm pencil mark holes and slots. I can't see myself going back to standard gauges and gauges and look forward to the level of precision and accuracy that you can achieve with Incra rulebooks. Whoever came up with this idea and then commercialized it is a genius. I should probably say that a genius who put in a lot of time and frustration recreated the measurements and markings using the usual rules. When you think about the benefits of Incra Rules, you quickly realize that the price is a steal.
