I had doubts studying this soft shell. I'm really good at searching when it comes to my personal belongings. This jacket is very comfortable. I would not recommend ordering it in your size if you intend to wear it to work and in inclement weather. I would order a size or 2 larger. I ordered my correct size, I'm wearing a whisk, thermal underwear and a t-shirt underneath. It's not impractical, but I wouldn't mind a little more space. I'm a big fan of the neck, it completely covers my nose. It was -5 in Pittsburgh last week, we were working outside, that upper neck saved my face from a bad windburn. I can also wear it casually. It's more than warm enough to get to and from the car/store. It's quite light, but still keeps you warm. The only complaint I have is the zipper, the bottom tooth is always hard. I'll have to tinker with it a bit before I can catch it.
