Unlike a lot of cheap replacement parts that attach to springs that I've seen on many RV accessory websites, these caps are the original where the cap itself rests on 4 posts so you only have can access it vent. , while believing that it will not be blown away by the wind and not pushed by a lost branch! We were replacing our 12 year old campervan roof and while the vent covers we removed were still in, at this price we could easily replace them all knowing we have ten years before they may need to be replaced!
