Fits 2005 Chevrolet Silverado WT. I added a turn signal and heated mirrors to replace the ultra basic mirrors that came with the truck - no heater, no turn signal, no power adjustment, no folding. This item is used to control part of the heated mirror and works as expected. I installed a switch on the dash to the left of the fog/truck lights simply because someone who owned the truck before me had already cut a hole for the toggle switch there. The switch wire is long enough to allow the switch to be installed remotely from the control box. Very simple and easy to install. The only thing that slowed me down was pulling the backing off to attach the switch to the dash. For myself I used a white wire next to the fuse box that only had power when the truck had the ignition on as opposed to the RAP style wire. The control unit is located next to the steering column for quick access in case of need; Again, a clearly audible click, as I'm having a bit of a hard time seeing the switch light up without moving my head (again, due to my own position and lack of desire to drill a new hole).
