Review on SI-PEX24059 - 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet PCI-E Networking Card 10/100/1000/25000 Mbps RJ45 LAN Interface by Michael Swanson

I was skeptical as this is the cheapest multi gig card I could find but I had no problems at all. It's very easy to set up - just plug it in, install drivers and you're done. This is ideal if you have a multi-gigabyte setup but are bottlenecked by hard drives or only PCI Express x1 slots are available - I have no problem scaling up/down 2.5 gigabytes between my PC and NAS. below, with a 10GB QNAP switch in between. I would love to get another one for my HTPC but I may have to shell out a few bucks more for a different brand. Hopefully it's just a delivery issue due to COVID and they'll be back in stock soon. UPDATE: First network card still working after several months of heavy use. I've noticed they've been restocked so I bought another one for my HTPC - looking forward to replacing the 2.5GB USB adapter I'm currently using with this system as it does everything else than is ideal.
