This is a well built product that is great for those who want a smoother attachment than a large windshield or dashboard. There are some caveats to be careful about. If you are using a Samsung smartphone with wireless charging, placing a metal plate anywhere near the center of the case or the phone will affect the wireless charging. If, like me, you're using a hard, rugged case that adds a bit of weight to the phone, metal plate placement is more critical and can't be placed closer to the bottom of the case. Unfortunately I couldn't do it due to my phone and case. Do not use this particular mount. When I contacted the seller he was very understanding and offered me a different setup that uses a claw holder that can be replaced with a magnetic base. Is free. I still give this product 5 stars because it was my situation and not the fault of the product. Also, the seller really cares about their customers and that says a lot.
