Review on EHDIS 4-Pin Relay with Harness: Heavy-Duty 80A 12V SPST Automotive Relay Set, Pack of 2 by Gary Reed

Used this relay as a replacement HVAC fan motor relay when the GM OEM failed. This is due to the small contact area on the male connectors and contactors of the standard relay. Both were bent, corroded and out of service due to the high currents from constant use of the AC system used here in the Deep South. Be sure to check the OEM connectors in the system (under the dashboard on the passenger side) for sources of error. It has been found that OEM connectors are too small (contact areas) to handle high current loads over time when the system is regularly used to the maximum. This is my experience with a 2009 GM RL Saturn Sky with 75,000 miles on it.
