Excellent flux for repair or assembly. It's pleasantly sticky. Allows the SMD to be moved around easily, but is also sticky enough to hold the elements together until they melt. This is a good balance and is recommended. But one thing needs to be clear: Yes, you CAN do without post-reflow PCB assembly cleaning, but WHY? A few minutes in the ultrasonic cleaning will do wonders and show off the bright, shiny fillets of solder it can produce. Use with confidence, but CLEAN after assembly is complete!
