Review on 💦 Tunze 3163.000 Streamfilter - Enhancing Water Flow and Filtration by Tracy Love

I use this on a 27cc mix reef. Like many other aquarium equipment, it can be finicky and requires regular maintenance (cleaning the pump/motor regularly is particularly important). When disassembled, it can only be reassembled in one direction, and the slightest deviation from this will cause problems in fitting to the case. It's a good idea to study the diagrams in the manual to learn how to manipulate the power cord during assembly. If you pay attention to these details, it works well. I use it with normal filter thread and Chemi-pure Blue filter media. I have only found one heater (Sera 75W) that works in the intended chamber. Enough for my 27 but I use a regulator and turn the heater knob up a little higher than normal.
