I use this on a 27cc mix reef. Like many other aquarium equipment, it can be finicky and requires regular maintenance (cleaning the pump/motor regularly is particularly important). When disassembled, it can only be reassembled in one direction, and the slightest deviation from this will cause problems in fitting to the case.
