Updating the original review. Change it from 1 to 3 stars. After some TLC, I finally managed to get the USB-C port working on my laptop. What others here say about this thing getting very hot is still true. Even when it's not connected to a laptop, just a charger, it still gets insanely hot. In short, it does its job but the development is of poor quality. Previous review: The USB-C port just doesn't fit. When I compare it to all my other USB-C ports, it's obviously a different design, so it doesn't fit my laptop. It goes about 3/4 of the way but doesn't connect. Looking at other reviews (which I should have done before buying this item) I'm not the only one with this problem. throw out.
