I haven't had any luck with this stuff. I've had problems with ammonia in my aquariums. I had to repeat the dose 3 times in the same tank (never noticed a drop in ammonia) and now my fish are dying. The bottle said it was safe to increase or repeat the dose "as needed". Spring. We have found that this is not true. So far 2 neons are dead and my fighting fish looks like it's about to break too. So yes. it sucks
