Excellent product. Be better than the premium brand. I use it for my delicate little clown fish. Help me keep my baby alive. Most ammonia removers pull air out of the water and suffocate my baby. It's not like this. I swear.

I have city water and it's full of chlorine and chloramines. I bought spring water, was fed up with it and wanted to find a tap water additive that wouldn't harm my fish. That's it! I fill my jars and add AmQuel, let it sit for 24 hours and it works great, no harm to my fish.

I haven't had any luck with this stuff. I've had problems with ammonia in my aquariums. I had to repeat the dose 3 times in the same tank (never noticed a drop in ammonia) and now my fish are dying. The bottle said it was safe to increase or repeat the dose "as needed". Spring. We have found that this is not true. So far 2 neons are dead and my fighting fish looks like it's about to break too. I have used this in combination with Aquanova plus and my water doesn't look as dirty or slimy as with Prime and my fish (freshwater) were much calmer with Aquanova plus. This is what I use on my water changes. My faucet is high in ammonia and nitrates due to chloramines. Even my plants looked better (maybe thanks to the new root tabs). Overall I am very satisfied with this product. When shipping fish, fish breeders strongly recommend this material for shipping.

I contacted Kordon before purchasing to see if AmQuel could be used to scavenge chloramines and chlorine when watering house plants.
