I am teaching my 14 year old son how to take care of his car. I didn't want him to start an oil change with oil on his hands and forearms. I was skeptical about this tool because I had tried something similar in the past and it didn't work. I tried anyway. I think the difference is that it uses a very strong magnet and has two levers to grab the bolt from either side. These two levers make it easier to remove the bolt from the oil pan. I was pleasantly surprised and very happy with this product. I will use it on all oil changes in our cars.
