Excellent mortise lock at a great price

This mortise lock arrived yesterday and is already on the door! I bought a wooden door for my 1922 bungalow and had to get it from one of the antique shops because, unlike now, they made doors out of real wood. I was so lucky as the cutout for the mortise lock was already made. All I needed was to find a lock that matched, and I had no idea there were such differences between them. This castle was a gem. I only had to use a little bit of a chisel as the bezel was a bit higher. But other than that, it just slid in and I screwed on the screws. I still have to attach the hasp because the hasp of the old mortise lock was a bit lower. Every door in my house has the same locks, strikes, handles and bezels, so I was a bit surprised that the one I had didn't fit. I believe if I can hang the door (to rearrange the hinges right to left) I can redo the striker insert. The lock looks well made (it's only $14!) and the keys work well. . Unfortunately they didn't work on any of my other doors so the keys must be specific to each lock. The only complaint I have is that they don't offer them in different colors. I really needed bronze so I need to paint shiny gold (well). But the door worked fine with a spigot that came with a lock I threw away ten years ago (teeth gnashing). It was a real antique. I can't find anything wrong. The lock is on the inner door so I don't expect it to withstand any stress when opening and it will last very long. I'll post a photo when I have the record.
