I had Kirkland (Costco) Himalayan Pink Sea Salt in a disposable grinder and it broke. I saw them in my office dining room and thought it would be nice to have them in the kitchen. Although the grind is not adjustable, it suits my needs. The salt comes out like a mini blast of fine salt and a few swipes give me just the right amount of flavor for my popcorn. One squeeze is enough for salt for an omelet, 2-3 for pepper. Can't comment on durability as they've only had them for a few weeks but so far so good. Since they are small initially, they are a bit difficult to download. My salt was in a ziplock bag and it was easier for me to put the open grinder in the bag and slide the salt in. I think a small funnel will do. But the spoon itself is too big, so load it carefully.
