This grinder is the answer. Slim and beautiful looking for cutting edge. The Metabo used to have bulky handles that would tire your hands after hours of use, but this one has lost some belly fat, which is a big plus. The soft start is good, but if the stylus is left plugged in, it does get a little warm from the sticker. I don't know what it is, it must be some component that controls the device. The only thing I have is that I thought it had tool-less shift adjustment like my other Metabo, which works flawlessly. It might be because it's so thin that they wanted a little more clearance on the bottom. Don't lose a star because this grinder is amazing to use. Some people are against buying them because they are expensive, but they are a lifetime investment. The fit and finish is very good, the bearings last longer, the gearbox doesn't vibrate or rattle by hand and best of all, it's not copied junk.
