I am addicted! - 3D Printing Filament

This is my third roll of 3D Fuel and my first roll of this color. I originally bought this brand because I wanted to make sure it was everything the company claimed. Well I can say it definitely is. I used this to print battery powered tool holders to organize in a friend's company car. He saddled them and rode some of the worst roads in the state. Surprisingly they are all intact with no obvious signs of cracks or problems. Another brand of thread I tried didn't last 2 days. Not to mention that the colors are absolutely beautiful. It's significantly richer and lighter than any other yarn (of the same color) I've used before. I will try as many of their colors as possible. As far as it really matters, this filament is without a doubt the best PLA I've ever used, and it's significantly easier to work with than other PLA+ brands I've used. . It flows very smoothly and evenly and adheres beautifully to my polyester layer. There is no need to readjust between prints and so far consistency between rolls has been excellent. It seems to bond (and blend) well with previous layers and so far I've noticed significantly fewer issues (like sidewall drips, streaks, etc.) compared to other PLA+ I've used. However, it needs more heat (actual nozzle temperature on my Ender 3 is 230°C*) and only requires 40-45°C* on the table. I say "actual temp" because I've measured my nozzle temp with 3 different infrared thermometers and I know exactly how my nozzle temp compares to the screen temp. I love the fact that it's made in the USA, although I'm still not blown away by the price. However, for a top thread, I think this is what it is. Unfortunately, despite my desire to use this yarn exclusively now, the price will hold it back for work that really needs the strength and beauty of a top quality yarn.
